The Johanna Banana

Grab a banana, cut it up in pieces, throw some honey and cinnamon on there, and voila- you have yourself a “Johanna banana.”  About 150 calories (that’s the high-end, assuming you use a lot of honey.  I usually put a teaspoon, which is 30).  I’m a fan of this snack cuz it’s chock-full of vitamins, potassium, and energy.

I dig this snack- it’s really easy to make. Can prep it in 2 minutes if I’m in a pinch and need to wolf down something tasty.

Cinnamon Banana Almond Muffins

Nutrition: 200 calories a muffin (note- this is a slimmed down recipe that I took from Elaine G, so I can eat a healthy snack that gives me tons of energy without consuming 400 or so calories). Makes 12 muffins.
